Singapore PUB Newater Plant #1 - SG, 7th June 2009
Well, it is time for educational tour, ever since Singapore has established its Newater plant, I have been always curious how it works... One day when I pass through hotel counter, I saw this leaflet hanging in one of the display counter, hypnotising you.. "come come, pick me up"... you know what .. I really pick it up...
after reading the details, I have decided to book the tour .. and Newater Plant,,, here we come...
Newater plant is located at the far east of Singapore, quite near to Singapore Expo...
and here is the road straight to the visitor centre,,, please be reminded, the security is very tight, and you will need to register at the guard house...
here is the outlook of the plant, you will be wondering where are all the crowds,,, well let me tell you.. it was a Sunday that day.. hahaha,, thats right,.. they even open on Sunday, so that they can accomodate for tourist and even for families only available during weekend..

now,, lets move on to our assembly area
you will be greeted with some cartoon in a big hall... while waiting for the tour guide... we snoop around the hall and take some pictures
arrrr... taking picture plants is always my favourite :)
this is a scale modle of the plant,,, and you will see how big it is
we were guided into this auditorium to watch some video, it will tell you how many reservoir we have, how many new water plant we have.. and finally telling you water is very important to us
next we we guided into another room, where you will be greeted by this lady on the screen curtain..
and this is the another hall where you will gain some knowledge on how water is recyle, and how much water u use in game form.. too bad we dont have enough time...
