Dim Sum & Dessert Cafe - SG, 16th Aug 2009
After our journey from teh ClaypotFun, we spotted this dimsum and dessert cafe...
my wife was suggesting why dont we go in and have some cold dessert since our lunch is kind of heaty... i am all for it..
they have 2 section. one section is meant for people who wants some air-conditioning and the other is meant for people who prefer "natural" air....
The interior is very simple, and with it chandelier on the ceiling.. i dont think it will bring out any luxury on the place....
now lets browse through the menu.. colourful... not only do they serve dessert,, they service snacks too... take note.. i saw some customer ordering the dim sum.. when we see the watier bringing ut the stuff.. it is not really appetising... if u ask me how it taste... no comment as we did not order it :P
the dessert page is very limited... they have hot and cold...
my wife ordered a Mango Mochi Madness... dont expect much on this,,,, there isnt a single mango puree in it.. just mango syrup, tasteless mochi, and small pearl jelly..... and this cost u S$4, excl GST...
while i ordered a Durain vanilla ice cream on Glutinious rice.. for all durian lover,, the durain meat is genuine ... but i think the matching are a little off with the ice cream and the glutinious rice... if you are to put the 3 onto your taste bud.. it is really a confusion....
