Today, we are into Ramen fever again...
we found another delicious ads on Dolce magazine... the Miharu Ramen (sapporo style)
the ads looks tempting, saliva juices is flowing just beside my teeth and gum... and you began to slurp reading the ads...
the little stall is located just inside Gallery Hotel, near Robertson...
with all banners outside the hotel, there is no way u can miss it
it is only 12 noon, but the little humble stall is already half pack with people
table necessities are simple, soya sauce, chilli oil, miso paste, chopstock, chilli powder
not really a open concept kitchen, but when are here,, u can already feel the japanese ambience.. too bad the waiteress are not japaneses :)
not really much of selection, but their focus are mainly the Sapporo Ramen, now lets see what we want
this is one of the recommeneded Gyokai-Dashi Ramen, the serving are not really that much compare to the one in Baikohken... but when the bowl is in front of you.. it makes u feels that you are half way there to Hokkaido...
the aroma of the same is really strong and smell good, and i almost finish the whole bowl of soup... the char siew are tender,, and talk abt the egg, this is the best egg i have tried,,, soft not hard, juicy not raw...
as for the ramen, texture is slightly better then Baikohken, bouncy, and slurpy too
my wife ordered a bowl of Shiro Miso Ramen, well Baikohken is better then this,,, I am not saying that this Miso Ramen is no good, it still give you that aroma that u want, the egg is a really must try thing..
here comes our Boil Gyoza, one thing is for sure,, this has to be consume when it is still hot,,,
but nontheless, it is not as juicy as the one u tried in Lao Bei Jing...
But with the meat stuff in it... it can really jam up your stomach.. so one plate per 2 person will be just nice...
over all we spent S$38.84, some how a little on the high, but it is a good experience for you if you dont have the chance to try the sapporo ramen in japan... you can always try here too...
Both Baikohken and Miharu has their own uniqueness... if you ask me which are the best, I can tell you one thing for sure,,, they both are the best
here is the detail
