Fish & Co, SG - 15th Oct 2009
After having our Awfully Chocolate Cake... now... let see where shall we have our birthday lunch with our friend... After some consideration, we decided to have our lunch at Fish & Co which are located in Sembawang Shopping Centre...
Probably you might ask why Fish & Co :)... we have been seeing Fish & Co almost everywhere, and yet we dont have any chance to patronise them at all.. so.. this time.. we have to try them..
The place are not really crowded. Its ambience is quote cosy as seen in below picture...
Wall decor are a little tasteless
Now lets check out their menu.. not much variety.. but they are very clear on what ingredients that they are using
after placing our order, here comes our mayo and chilli sauce.. just curious why do they have to serve chilli sauce here
lets review our orders...
we ordered a Baked Ginza Salmon, when we first look at it, impressive has never appear in our mind... BUT.. after eating it.. the salmon is crunchy with its wonderful skin, the meat is tender ad juicy, and when mix with it tumeric rice, it is really a perfect match.. this is a dish that I will recommend and i really dont mind order another one of this
Moving on, here comes our Crawfish Pizza, we are really disappointed with this dish... F&C is using a non pizza skin for its base.. well.. i dont have to say much, if you want to know.. you can try to order one for your curiousity
now.. here is the Swordfish Collar, it sounds big and grand isnt it? "Swordfish" wow.. we havent taste swordfish before, and we decided lets go for it..., it is hard, dry, salty, meatless, but on the consolation side.. they really have good chips too.... if i am going to give a rating for this... it will be 3 out of 10...
the last dish will be Prawns Fetucini with Chilli, nothing fantastic about it, as they are not really a pasta restaurant. Fetucini are hard, sauce are to creamy rich, prawns are ok, over all grading from me are only 5
well, they might have some nice platter that we have not try... but I dont think I will be going back again for a 2nd round...
