Itacho Sushi - Ion Orchard, SG - 1st Aug 2009
A new HK friend has actually "date" us for lunch in one of the Jap restaurant located in Ion Orchard... we really feel excited about it, as recently there are many good things that was reported in the newspaper about this place....
So on 1st Aug, we drove happily to Orchard happily after our weekend morning swim, but knowing that it will be really jam in orchard, we will park in Shaw Tower...

As Ion Orchard is still a new place and people are still talking about it... no wonder the human traffics are pack and crowded
Look at the crowd at B3 or B4?? I think.... :P
People are just queuing up for food food food......
Now.. this is the place we will be having our lunch.... Itacho Sushi,,, heard it is good and are very popular in HK too... let see how its fair compare to some Jap family restaurant in Singapore
Clean and "cosy" if you are sitting by the side...
Table are nicely and neatly arrange...

and you dont have to rely the waiter or waiterss to take your order.. simply check what u want and "check" on this order form
Menu are presentable
and we start to look into the menu, not only you see various selection of sushi, the pictures are alive too...
Tea cups are also unique, I wonder if they sell their cups...
1st we order a scallop sashimi, it really taste fresh, and if u dip with a little of soya sauce, it really brings both the sweetness of scallop and tha sauce... and if you eat together with the shredded radish, it is heaven.....
here comes our California Handroll.. this is one of the good handroll that we have tasted so far beside Nogawa, Ichiban ... ingredients are fresh, full, and crispy too... i think will order a extra for myself...
