Bukit Batok Nature Park - SG, 12th Nov 2009
It was one of the cool early morning, my wife and I decided to take a stroll at this nature park near our place... we have been driving pass almost every day and every nite, and thought we have to take this opportunity to check out this place
we stopped at a sign located at the entrance of the park.. we check out which route we need to take.. and now... the journey begin
it was a quiet path early in the morning... it is so pleasing as greenery is surrounding you.
I found this sign interesting...beware of durian, no feeding to monkey, beware of branches, beware of steep slope and no poaching of animals...
when we are in the middle of the route, you will see this people are already doing their group warm up.. and ready for the laughing exercise... and at the pond area, people are doing tai-chi.. let see if i can take a nice pictures of them
manage to take some nice pond scenery, you dont have to worry if you fall into it as safety gadgets are in place nearby
it is almost 30 mins, lets move to more challenging route.. here come the stairs
most of singapore guys will be familiar with this plants... thats rite the CB leaves... but no one has seen a flower before.. it is is really pretty indeed...
we accidentally spotted a squirrel up on the branch chewing away.. let me try to zoom it

this is one of the steepest route that we took, and so be careful not to slide onto the slope :P
we almost come the the tip of the nature park, take this opportunity to check out the Bukit Batok Memorial, and if you want to know more abt this plague, you can check out this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bukit_Batok_Memorial too
right at the tip, you will get to see this satellite tower, too bad it is off guard, so this is the nearest i can come close
it is almost 1 hour, it is time to go back... just look at the steep slope walking down ;(, you dont see it when you are at the tower
finally we are out on the other end of the park, Lor Sesuai, it is just located beside Bukit Timah Road
on our way back home, we notice this "funny" tree, can someone tell me what it is if you know
if u plan to take this leisure walk.. please remember to bring insect repellent, and dont forget to drink more water too...
