Chicken Rice in Bukit Timah Shopping Centre
We so "mo-liu" one day, strolling in this long time never go Bukit Timah Shopping Centre.
it has really change from the last time I went there 20 years ago..
this place used to have many computers store, cinema, and renovation contractors and other vibrant store..
NOW.. 50% tenants are all dealing with supplying maids
But we saq something interesting, a famous chicken rice store that we always like to patronise, they are "友吉" chicken rice.. They have this really tasty chicken that u really cant miss (wow, i have used 2 "really")...
But this time, we ordered the roasted chicken instead of the white one.
Roasted chicken still taste tender and a little juicy (not tough) as most of its fat is already thin during the roasting process
this kang kong is soft
this fried tofu is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.. its special thai sauce will sure makes your tongue tingling.. remember to order a barley drink to bring down the"heat" too
i like "you ji" compare to "boon xxxx xxxx" as the latter contain very high MSG..
try "you ji"
