April Gathering for HKer in Singapore
Hi everyone,
My brain juice was totally drained out on where we should go for our gathering.. And finally I came out with a great way to choose the place.. I have actually pre-select 3 places to choose from.. and seems like Watami is the most favourable to everyone...
The reason for choosing Watami, The Central is that they really have one large room which is enough to hold our group.. and with this room, we can actually raise our db sound level as high as possible too...
Without further delay, let see what they have...
as you can see from the large menu outside the restaurant.. you can either order A-La-Carte or their special set
The room setting is really cosy and zen.. but its aircon is rather weak when our food arrives..
while waiting for the guest to arrive, let us do some warm up by chatting with Mr Jimmy - the jovious one
and now, lets start ordering, while the waitress are still waiting..
99% of us are ordering the special set for 2, as there are some duplicate dish, i shall not repeat the pictures here..
the set includes this Salad dish with seasoning of Japanese special sauce
Kari-nage seems to be better tasting then the watami in ION..
Our cold ramen taste a little special, but beware, the portion is really really very big.. so it is good to share.. wait wait.. the soup is a little sweet with sourish.. good in the sense for opening up your stomach... noodle are bouncy and not sticky.. this you can try

this saba looks well grilled.. this i have to let our friends to comment
as mentioned in my last blog on watami.. just wondering y they have a korean dish in a japanese restaurant.. BBBap
oops.. i forget to switch on the red-eye button. well anyway.. when i put in the caption.. it should bring up joy to everyone..bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
our Salmon Miso Nabe (this name really sounds like scolding vulgar word).. well.. this Nabe taste ok.. not too salty but it will be great if they have more soup for us to boil :)
this Tompeiyaki is a must try dish.. i am not saying they are really super good.. but i really do like it.. the omelette wraps around the shredded cabbage with bacon in it.. and with it teppanyaki sauce and mayonaise spread.. wow.. super power men...
this one is definitely from Mr YY..
This is another dish that you must try... the looks are really not fantastic.. but it sure taste good.. its thin crispy bread is really thin, and the topping are simple and tasty too
