We have not been to Raffles City far a while, and there is a huge change there too...
Raffles city has more store now, and they even extend the basement after their last extension. I believe they are utilising some of the car park spaces to make up of more stores.. and no wonder the carpark at basement 1 fill up that quick...
We had the intention to check out the food court here.. but we accidentally found this Japanese family restaurant that works like Mache...
The Entrance is colourful, and you will notice it very clearly without fail.... they have some kind of a guardian outside the entrance.. probably it is for good luck and ward the eveil away..
I quite like the samurai outfit just at the entrance.. probably it is another guardian that guard the restaurant.. wow.. double protection

once we entered the restaurant, we were given this reserved board.. which mean, when we put this on a table that we like.. no one is to take this table.. it act as a reserved card on it

We browse through the while restaurant.. it is unbelievable.. there are just too much store to choose from.. there Sashimi booth, Sushi booth, grilled booth, pizza booth..

Soup, gyoza, burger,,, and the list just go on...

and not forgetting the Gelato Corner.. yummy

there are different sitting decor at different corner, some are of traditional setting, some are of a little contemporary setting.. and by chance we sit at a counter and able to see the chef at work :)

here we order a Shokudo Mushrrom Cheese Burger.. this is the largest burger that we have ever seen so far... comes wifh fries, it taste nice at the first bite.. but when u let the fries sit on the plates for 10 mins,, it turns soggy, and the crispiness is not there at all..
we even cut it in half to show how it looks like :).. you can see how thick the burger is, the cheese and the egg, the mushroom.. the buns taste soft and puffy, burger is great, but if it is a little juicy, that will be great... as for the salad that comes on the plate and burger,, they are fresh...

next, we ordered a Bamboo Salmon rice,,, it is just nice for a person consumption.  The presentation doesnt looking tempting.. but when we try our first bite on it.. the fragrance from the lotus leaf beneath makes the aromas so nice that you want to finish it fast... rice is just nice, salmon ..hmm.. rather small piece, but when you put the rice and the salmon into your mouth, it has a slight sweet after taste... nice !!

we find it so interesting that we order another Bamboo Salmon rice... it really has the nice scent from the bamboo basket.. and the unagi is so tender, rice are so juicy and with the slice mushroom with it.. perfect!

next... we ordered a assorted mushroom and vege ramen,,, at first we were quite sceptical abt this dish.. but when we try this... the noodle really is chewy and with the vege in it .. this dish is veyr healthy, it has mushroom, bamboo shoot, french pea, etc.. and the soup taste great...

here comes our side dish, Yaki Gyoza... after sitting for 5 mins, it is still hot and crispy by the side.. it taste good compare to some food court and even restaurant... you should try...

still not satisfied? for just S$6.80, you can order a california maki...
very rich in ingredient, avocado is really fresh... i think this is one of the good maki i have tried...but i need to say one thing.. go slowly with their soya sauce... it is really salty...

it really make us feel satisfied.. here is the address that you guys will like to know
