Eating is always a great hobby among all people and we are one of them.
We like to try new places and new food, be it Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Western, and we like them all.
This time, we are going to try a new Korean family restaurant which are located just above the Novena MRT station. We spotted this place a few months back, and we always keep wondering when are we going to try this place until yesterday...
We reached the place around 11.30 am, and we are surprised that they are already opened for business... the premises are yet to be crowded, and we are able to find a nice seat too.
You can actually have a "nice" view on their open concept kitchen, so there is really nothing to hide.

nice decor light, too bad we cant buy them to install in our living room... it is really kind of big..

we can all see that the menu are a little dull
but when you open it, tonnes of varieties waiting for you to choose, and it also comes with colourful pictures so that you will be able to tell what you are going to order for yourself...
we ordered the Korean Malt Tea, nice drinking cup, but it lacks the aroma it suppose to have
Appetiser was really appetising, this is the first time that we come into a korean restaurant where they give u this to start with..
this restaurant only serve 3 side dishes, it is quite a disappoinment...
we ordered Black Bean Paste Noodle, this is the first time that we are eating this.. almost similar to the "zha jiang mian".. this is not spicy at all, the paste are thick and aroma are unique, when you tuck in, u will find slice potatoes, radish, onion and cube meat in it. You might be asking where are all the ingredients.. they are already camouflage with the same colour as the paste...
this is the best Pan Fried Dumpling i have tried so far, with a little Korean touch, the skin are crispy crunchy and not soggy. After leaving on the table for 15 mins, it is still retain its crisp.. nice stuff...
the meat in it is not oily at all, when you first bite.. you can feel the juice running around you teeth, well, it can be the juice from your saliva.. hahaha... one word to describe it.. GREAT !!!
BiBimbob Hotstone pot is always our favourite choice of food when we patronise any Korean restaurant.. the ingredients that they serve are a little disappointing.. but it still worth a try
after our meal, we are surprised that they even serve nice dessert, fruit punch with cube cut water melon,, i dont really dont mind having another cup...really refreshing...
This is one restaurant that you should try when you are around Novena.
