Today is Vesak day, it is a Singapore Holiday to celebrate the birthday of Buddhist Buddha :)
and with this another day of relaxation day, my wife was suggesting Bugis Food junction for lunch after our morning swim
the last time we tried the Japanese Omu rice, and it really left us a very bad impression on the food..

the ambience are spacious and seats are "leather" look alike..

but this time we will try something else.. we spotted this food stall, they call it Olive Vine Pasta Fusion.. when we browse through their menu on their counter, the price is very affordable...

We start to order our main dish, and at the same time, we top up another $1.50 for a Garlic Bread and a Bowl of Soup..
While waiting for our food, here is the chef in action, wow...
and you know what !!..NO ADDED MSG.. this is a good thing, as too much MSG is bad for health :P hehehehe

here is our garlic bread, the garlic spread are too little, you can hardly taste any garlic, but more on the butter..

Mushroom cream soup, you will still eat some mushroom, probably a few chops of it

here come the heavy one.. Spaghetti Arrabiata has a very rich tomato spicy paste on it, and with it grilled chicken, it really create a special fusion.. chicken meat are tender and sweet, and the spagh taste great with the rich paste.. great taste

and Fettucine Carbonara, rich in cream and ham, the saltiness is just nice, cream is too much, and it taste great if you are to dip your garlic bread..:p

and not expensive after all, the whole lunch cost at an affordable price S$16.60

And you really cant compare with some of the authentic pasta restaurant, but nonetheless, i will give this stall a 4/5...
here is the place
