Once upon a time, but not too long, just last week, we receive a short reply from Jhouse student, Jamil (left) in jhouse blog, saying that she will be coming to Singapore with her sister and friend.
This is the first time that they are visiting Singapore, and getting advised all over the world like how to get to museum, which hotel to stay, what is the best food to go, etc..
We have not seen Jamil for quite some time, and Jhouse really kind of miss her ..

Once we decided a day to meet, we choose Wisma Atra Food Republic as our meeting place.. as this is place where you get to eat all the local food (allmost all).. nice environment, good food presentation, good varieties, and good cleanliness too..

Me, saya, like a tour guide, bring them round the food court to show them what the food court can provide for them, and a little briefing on where the food comes from and which ethnic group specialise them..
1st we order this set from a Indonesia stall...

followed by this Hainanese beef noodle set

followed by my favourite Mee Siam, this is one dish that i really enjoy happily.. i have tried many mee siam from other food courts and hawker centre, and none of them can come close to this one.. its soup (just look at its colour) is not to thick and watery, bean sprouts are fresh and handful, portion is just nice.. not too sweet and sour.. i will definitely recommend this stall for those who like mee siam..
wait wait wait.. before i tuck in into my dish, i let the 3 young ladies to have a first taste of the gravy... to my surprise, they like this over laksa.. hahahaha

followed by jhouse shrimp dumpling noodle

we ordered some side dish like popiah

roti prata with egg is one dish that our HK friends would like to try.. after the tasting session, they actually finished it all :)... i think they will miss it once they are back in hk

here are some dessert that me and jhouse ordered...

hope that our hk friends had a pleasant stay here ...
