Bukit Timah CC Kickboxing Class gathering - Furama #1
Finally, we have one activity kicking off by Celine..
Celine has been trying to organise a small gathering so that the members in her kickboxing class can get to know each other well... but as for today, even though the number is small... we are still having fun eating, chatting and lastly we get to know each other "well" too.. at least... :)
Our gathering venue will be at Furama Riverfront, The Square.. it is a buffet lunch which comprises of not only local delicacy and also some Japanese (not so much)... I am not really a buffet guy, as i am a light eater.. but being the "only" guy in the class.. I think i will be sport enough to join them, of couse together with my wife...
And during the lunch, I am honour to get to know Doris, Michelle, Kendra... at least I have make 3 new friends from the class...
now.. lets move on to our makan ....
here we are the building of Furuma Riverfront... and this hotel structure is not old, and it has been in Singapore for quite some time...
It is greeted by this big lion that is guarding the hotel...
and not forgetting a water feature that is in front of the hotel too... wow... really feng shui decor here...
Nothing special abt the hotel lobby..
but at least you will get to see some nice nostalgic lighting which I like to take pictures of it
you will also get to see this gigantic portrait of the old singapore
Moving on, The Square is located at the 2nd level, and you will be greeted by this escalator :)
Rather quiet and plain on the outside
Ambience is a little dull, but let see if the food really draws you in
While we were busy looking on what dish they have.. the chef are busy preparing replenishing the food outside
you have roasted pork ribs
simmered chicken
Carrot Cake in dark sauce
Octopus meat ball
Pepper beef
Vege
Har Kow
