We would like to thank Cherry for recommended this place to us. You will definitely never notice place at all if no one is to tell you about it.. Who the hell will know that there is such a place in Sime Darby Centre, next to Perfomance Motor (BMW distributor), and located in a place where there are no big shopping mall beside Bukit Timah Plaza.
But it is never too late to know that there is such a place..
You will be suprise that when you drive into the building carpark, and here you find a elegance glass door waiting for you.
as this place is still pretty new, hence the crowd is still manageable by the stuff... try not to take too much shot... (hey Jimmy, if ever drop in into this blog.. next time can we have your permission to take some pictures? :P )
it colour arrangement is adapting the new concept and probably meant and suit the Y Generation
Now lets talk about eating... we ordered a Lemon Grass Chicken Leg set, which comes with a Mushroom cream soup and drinks. Just dont know why they call it chicken leg, and not thigh...
and we ordered another Poached Salmon with Garlic Cream set
now.. this is not a bad dish after all, its coleslaw taste very commercial compare to home made, but i do like the raisin added into it (personal preference), smashed potatoe blends well with the gravy, it has a memorable taste that I dont really know how to describe it.. (i think u better try it for yourself).. as for the chicken.. hmmmm.. it seasoning taste more towards the Asian rather then the western.. BUT.. it sure taste good.. not to forget the tenderness and juciness on the meat too)
This Salmon set really is a disappointment compare to IKEA, if it is not for the garlic gravy, i must say the salmon doesnt taste like salmon at all
this soup is really good, if Bistro ever have this free flow of soup, I will sure go for a second round.. this is a die die must try
over all our meal cost $19.80... frankly speaking, i think it is rather on the high side...ife you think about it, it is still a good place to choose if you want to have a cosy corner to eat and chat.
