Korean BBQ CHicken @ West Coast Plaza
Hi, I am back with more good places to lunch and dine in ..
This time it will be in West Coast Plaza, I have not been there since my secondary school days, it was known as Ginza, back then, it was a sleazy and ambience is pretty non enjoybale.. but when I put my first step in, this place has totally transformed into a clean and nice place to hang out..
Air-conditionining is pretty cold there, so for those who is afraid of cold, please bring your sweater along or wear something thick :) .. hahahaha
It has all the nice shop and displaying all the latest stuff.. and the mall even has a New York x 2 restaruant too.. this is really cool
anyway, the place that we had for lunch is this decent cosy outlet, the BBQ Chicken
The captain is nice and attentive, and the place is cosy and it is a good choice of place for a nice chat or gossip
BBQ Chicken has very nice and delicious menu.. to be honest, the lunch promo is the most attractive.. any a-la-carte u have ordered during lunch hour, it will comes with a soup, any 2 side dish of your choice, free drinks and ice cream.. and if want to change your drinks to cuppa or hot choc, u will just have to top-up another $1
here comes our hot drinks.. on the left is a cuppa for me and right, hot choc for jhouse.. and tips to remember, tell the captain to less some sugar for this drink, otherwise, it will be very sweet :)
Soup of the day will be "campbell" mushroom soup, the reason for saying this is it doesnt taste like home made or even restaurant made, it just taste like out from the can.. but nonetheless, no complain la, it will be good if they have garlic bread to tag along.
I have ordered a Ginger Chicken Steak, as for my side dish, i have selected their home-made cole-slaw and seasonal vege salad
let me cross-section the steak, you can see it is really juicy and tender, and check out the fat flowing under the steak, it is a perfect tag along with the olive rice (wait till u see the picture below).. and when u shaft it into your mouth, you can really imagine the juciness of the meat rolling and smoothing your whole teeth and mouth.. hahahaha
the next dish will be Chicken Mushroom Steak for Jhouse, the side dish she chose will be coleslaw and Olive rice
now lets do the CSI thing... by one look, u can see it is lean and not fat at all.. but dont let this scene deceive you.. when u first bite it, its juices just explode in your mouth and the best part, it is really really tender... yummy
this is suppose to be Olive rice, but I really cant taste and olive at all.. but, this is a nice rice and a tasty one too
Coleslaw is refreshing, remember dont compare this to KFC coleslaw, this salad from BBQ Chicken is fresh and crunchy
after our great meal, here comes our dessert, the captain can still remember what we like the last time we visit them... but it is still a good desert
furthermore, we were given a reward card..
so keep on patronising them, collect more stamp, and eat more free stuff..
