Ka-soh Restaurant - Telok Ayer
We have always wanted to try this famous Ka-Soh Fish Head Noodles.. the last time I ate was around the early 90s.. just curious if they are still of the same standard...
So without any delay, we drive down after a nice warm morning swim, and with our stomach pounding for food, it is the right time to eat..
BEWARE!!!,, please eat something before you go there.. as u will need to wait at least 1 hour for the food to be serve :(
This place really change a lot.. i almost kind recognise... and luckily this place is air-conditioned... otherwise we will be hot like hell
we browse through the menu... no pictures.. so u have to use your imagination
here comes their A-char for a start..
I ordered a Fish Head Soup Noodle
and my wife ordered a Slice Fish Soup Noodle...
basically the soup base are the same, the noodle smooth and slippery, so you will have to eat with care.. the fish meat is thick, FRESH and tender.. as for the soup base.. it is just perfect.. there isnt any trace of MSG, as I dont feel thirsty after finishing all the soup
If you are ordering the Fish Head Noodle.. do be careful, this is the amount of bones that you will be having :)
After finishing our lunch.. we took a stroll along the whole of Telok Ayer..
and we pop by tis famous temple.. unfortunately we are not allow to take any pictures inside as to show some respect to the god... so I think outside should be fine
They have small garden with some statues in it.. i think they are quite interesting, and they even have a sign board to tell you about this area too..
