Golden Peony (Conrad Centinnial) - SG, 23rd Feb 2008
This is fortnight gathering among the members in the CGC group...
CGC stands for Canto Group Club in Singapore.. This group was initially created for people who speaks Cantonese, and for people who would like to meet frens and for those who wants to improve their canto speaking..
We occassionally will organise a big gathering like this one and sometime a smaller one too so that we can know what is happening to every member and also to catch up what we have miss.. :P
As this time.. our gathering is held in Golden Peony - Conrad Centennial.. which is located south of Singapore... We talk a lot and laugh a lot too.. and we also had great time with young Williard..
Food here is not as as we expected, which I think I had taste better... but one thing which i think they are good in theiroverall ambience....
Ambience is serene and it is not very nosiy..

Bean Curd Skin Roll - this is one of the worst that I have ever taste... it is tasteless and the way the present on plate is no different from a hawker centre
Cheong Fun
Fried Carrot Cake - so far this more "qi yong", taste is great, and with a good "lup cheong" taste..
Squid ink scallop dumpling - this is one of the unique, tasty, juicy and soupy on the inside.. in fact i have eaten 2 pc that day :P
Char Siew Sou
Glutinous Chicken rice
Fried Beef Hor Fun - so this the best dish we have ordered... and we have come with a conclusion that.. this restaurant may be good in cuisine but not in dim sum... soo next time dont come here for dim sum

Sago Mango pudding, many complaints on this,,, no mango taste, but you can only taste the fruts.. verdict.. - BAD choice

White Fungus Pear dessert - SO-SO
