MacRitchie Reservior (HSBC Tree Top) Expedition #1 - SG, 21st Mar 2009
today, 21st March 2009...
I did mention to our Blogger group that I might be organising some trail walking event..
But before I suggest a place to them, I will need to do a trail walk at this place, especially the Tree Top Walk...
here are the report:
9.00 am - reach destination, the place is fill with family and school activities...
you get a change to check out the nice view along the way
remember this is the water that flow to our every day tap
9.30 am.. this will be the entrance and also the beginning of my trail walk to the tree top bridge walk
there are many dead leaves on the trail, plus with the super humid in the forest, it actually makes you perspire already after a 30 minutes walk.. do take note that it is quite a soggy walk...
10.00 am... saw a direction sign that directs you to the bridge..
and this is a very steep road up to the bridge
finally we are here
10.30 am... here there is a short briefing... the ranger can only allow 20~30 people at one time on a bridge...
now.. our bridge journey begin
the bridge is safe stable.. but you will feel a little wavy ...
you can also check out how high the bridge is by just checking out the depth of the forest
you can also capture some view on your camera
V This is a zoom from the nex picture
look at how green the forest is
