Fate / Stay Nite - Plain Version - Figma

Recently received my latest edtion of Saber.. this time it is a plain clothe version...
The funny thing is that it comes with addtional pair of hand that hold a chop stick and a bowl of rice.. and also a sitting leg too
Now I am getting a hang of how to adjust the joints from Figma figurine.. and I got to find a cool place for this sitting postion...
Found this great spot with railway track. It will be really cool for plain Saber to have her lunch here, sitting there ... smiling in front of the camera

Now let me adjust the next pose ..
The weather was not really in my favour.. it was raining cats and dogs that day... and soooo... decided to do the photo shoot inside my car :)
As fast as I can, I change her face expression, her hand, and her weapon come into place

and with some nice close up.. you can see how Saber seriousness is.. so dont mess around with her :)

Iron Man Mark III Statue - Kotobukiya

Newly erected Iron Man Statue is in town (Marina Barage).. just joking...
Ladies and gentleman, let me introduce my next collection .... Iron Man Mark III - Statue version by KOTOBUKIYA....
and this time, the photo shooting session was held at Marina Barage...
Let me give u brief introduction on this piece
"The armored avenger stands tall as 1/6th scale Fine Art Statue (approximately 13 inches tall). Stan Winston Studios fabricated the suit for the film based on designs by comic artist extraordinaire Adi Granov, and every detail of Iron Man’s Mark III armor has been faithfully replicated by the craftsmen at Kotobukiya. Kotobukiya has been working from reference provided by Marvel Studios, the level of mechanical detail is matched only by the personality conveyed by Iron Man’s heroic stance.

Manufactured in cold cast porcelain and coated with metallic paint, the Iron Man Fine Art Statue even features multiple LED lights: eyes, Repulsor Ray palms, and the Unibeam on his chest. The base is ornamented with a sculpted Iron Man film logo on a three-dimensional realization of his chest symbol, and painted in the Mark I color scheme. Each statue is individually numbered on the bottom of the base as part of a Limited Edition. "

Iron Man Fine Art Bust - MK III - Kotobukiya

Here is one of my Iron Man collection.. this Bust was released around Jan 2009...
This instant-classic IRON MAN film has thrilled comic fans worldwide with its accurate portrayal of shellhead, and KOTOBUKIYA Collection aims to be just as accurate with its highly detailed Fine Art Bust.
Its metallic paint effects cover the hyper-detailed cold cast porcelain bust of the Armored avenger. Perfectly rendered at 1/6th scale, Iron Man measures approximately 9” tall and is posed on a deluxe movie marquee style base.
Below are some shots that I have took... and I shall name it " Iron Man in HDB Town"
This is a full fledge 9" tall bust

The fine details is really detailed from the great master who carves it

Individually numbered on a metal plate, the Iron Man Fine Art Bust is a Limited Edition. (oops, i have missed the metal plate)

Well.. more to come, so stay tune for next few Iron Man Collection series.. I am trying to find some nice place to take some shoot too :)

Here is another one of my Saber collection .. this time it is a armour version from Figma..
It has been in my closet for a while.. I thought of bringing her out for a nice picture shoot, but due to bad weather, I think I should snap her indoor...
It is not that easy going around her joints... but i will try my best :)
Now let fix her into position....

This post is not an easy one, it took me around 5 mins to make her stand still

this is one post that takes ard 3 mins to set

this is easy .. not even 1 min.. notice the different in face expression... yup.. there are 3 face expression that you can choose from Figma...
the one she is holding now is the Excalibur

now let see how the Excalibur looks like

after all the shot with orchid as back drop, it is time to move Saber into the display cabinet...

Fate/ Stay Night, - Saber armour version - GSC

This will be the first for me to blog abt my figurine collection.. I started my figurine collection 2 years back, and most of my collection are Iron Mans and Saber of Fate... I am not really a fans for Transformer but I think Transformer are great too
Ever wondering where are all my collections? well.. it has been well kept inside my cabinet, new in their box and has not seen sunlight.. and I think it is the right time for them (figurine) to see the beautiful side of the outside world..
I have seen quite a few shots of figurine on websites or blogs.. majority of them were shot in their own home, rooms, glass cabinet and even studio... i wanted to do something interesting, thats right, bring them out to breath that fresh air and get some "vitamins" too.
OKOK... let me introduce this figurine..
her name is Saber. She is a heroine from the anime Fate/Stay Night.. and it is a product from Good Smile Company (GSC)..
Place of shoot is around the perimeter of Jurong Town Hall, Singapore...
I have took several shots, and upload only a few.. well.. I hope all reader will like it...
