Crystal Jade IMM, 13th Jul 2008
we have been to IMM several times every wednesday, and we keep noticing that Crystal Jade located at one corner...
My wife was suggesting last wednesday, why done we try out this crystal jade? I also ok.. lets do it today after our morning swim..
Now the challenge is, it is tough to find a parking lot during Sunday, as many people will flock down to this place as the parking is free for the 1st 3 hours...but we were lucky enough.. and found a lot on the fifth level...
Crystal jade is forever crowded with people.. here you can see the crowd outside the entrance..
While waiting for your table... you can get to see what they have and their specialty and promotion too
The internal decor is quite zen like... and when the waiteress escort us into one of their bigger hall.. it is really cosy in there...
You will get to see their colourful menu, dim sum paper for you to choose.. no doubt their menu is already a little to old.. but you still be able to see most of their dish in colour...
here is their steam braised peanuts .. it is nice and crunchy.. here is the close up
my wife specially orderd the Char Siew ... the only comment is that if the meat is a little leaner.. that will be great... as for this dish.. to me.. its really taste great and juicy :P
and she ordered a plate of fried shredded pancake.. it taste almost the same as Roti Prata.. but it is different, it has a little of that sesame aroma, and it is fluffy and tasty
and here is how we like to eat.. there is no actual eating style.. u eat with what u like to eat.. you can have char siew on rice or you can have char siew on fried pancake.... one way or another its just taste great...yummy
we ordered a Deep Fried Yam Pastry.. .nothing special... but it not that bad
i ordered a Steam Pork Rib.. this is the worst i have taste so far.. the best is still award to East Ocean... this taste too blend and it is too fat....so ... no go for me
Crystal Jade has 2 different type of Phoenix Claw.. but this time.. we ordered a special one.. the Phoenix claw with Abalone sauce.. it taste really yummy, with the abalone flavour simmer into the claw.. wow.. and if you are to eat it with rice.. double yummy.. and my wife did say,, the next time when we bring our friends here.. we have to order this dish
here is another dish we ordered... Steam Seafood Roll.. nothing special, just a few shredded vege in it.. a little salty... i think you can dont ordered it...
lastly we ordered a Water Chestnut cake that we cant finish.. so we told the waitress to pack for us so that we can bring home.. i will let u know the verdict later... :P
