Imperial Treasure @ Great World City

Here is another day where me bringing my MIL to this Cantonese Restaurant for a good dim sum.

Located in the central south Singapore, Great World City which houses several F & B outlets of western and Asia, Imperial Treasure is one restaurant where many HKers will love to go there for a great Yum Cha session with friends and families.

The ambience is still as cool as the last time we were here.

Our porridge is here, they sure have one good porridge where they are popular due to its silkiness texture.

This dumpling will actually lighten up your stomach as its a mix of several vegetables.

This unit crispy you tiao cheong fun will 100% surprise you as it taste fresh crispiness. And it taste good even without sauce.

Over all, we eat with happiness and our trip is all not wasted.

But remember, it make a reservation to avoid disappointment

Sun With Moon @ Wheelock Place

I have combine my 2 visits to this place to make it more interesting. One will be our anniversary lunch and one will be dinner with my MIL and SIL.

Its really cosy during the dinner time, and sitting by the side of the window panel, the feel is very different, but I dont really like to see the heavy traffic running here and there as it will some how affecting your eating mood

Menu is every comprehensive and very visual with full of pictures.

here comes my favourite premium Chirashi Don.

I can really taste the freshness of the fish meat, sweet, tender and juicy.

unfortunately the portion is really not enough for me as I am really crazy on sashimi.

but i will come again the next round

my second visit will be the chirashi maki, as i couldn't get enough from the Chirashi don, why not maki this time, same ingredients, same freshness, this time different arrangement.

This is another set for my SIL

I am very happy with all the meal,  this is a place I will definitely recumbend

Ma Maison @ The Central

Here is another one of my favourite place, we patronise a few times at their Bugis outlet, and we patronise here a few times too. But it was already pass 1 to 2 years since our last patronise, and we wanted to introduce this nice place to my MIL and SIL.

Ma Maison is really easy to find, as it is located quite near to Chinatown, and it is near to Clark Quay MRT station, just less the few mins walk.

As you can see, their interior decor really has the oldern character and some ornaments are really retro. Just wondering where do they get this item from.

Their menu are big with great pictures, so that you will not miss out a single item.

Here come my dish, beef steak with rice, you can choose spaghetti if you want to…

Its steak is tender and juicy, and its gravy is a little mixture of saltiness and sourness. It does go well with the fats from the steak, and if you eat together with rice, pow wow, its sure hit the jackpot in your stomach.. beautifully feel great 

My MIL ordered this Paella

both wifey and my SIL order his Omelette rice with beef burger.

Its also one of my favourite too.. their omelette is perfectly done, and its burger which mixed with demaglace sauce, is really something.

I will go there again as i have some voucher to spare…

Lao Bei Jing @ Velocity Novena

This is another Chinese Restaurant which we have not been patronise for many many years.  Ambience  and decor has not change, but the only changes are they employ more PRC now.

They have slightly change the menu with more visual.

Their Dumplings are still forever taste good, and yes, it definitely has to eat it hot, but do be careful not to get burn :P

Here is another one of the signature dish, the Crystal Jade fried tofu, it is still live up to the standard that we tasted many years ago. And this one dish I strongly recommended.

This is the best fish .. I mean best dish, the sweet sauce will definitely open your appetite after so much from the above, the meat are chunky and soft, with the sauce pour into it, you sure feel that you are in heaven..

well… what shall i say

GO FOR IT !!!!
