Once again, it is another monthly yum-cha gathering for all our HK friends.. this time we have Irene, Mandy, Olive and VJ around...
Victoria Peak has recently ereceted one restaurant in Singapore.. it is located right above Orchard Central.. and hope it has good food compare to most place that we have patronise :)
VP is situated on the 11th floor...
the managers are nice and polite and are all ready to bring you in to your table

after the sitting down, remember to bring your jacket along as it is quite shivering up there...
and let check out what they have...

蝦餃 - steam prawn dumpling is the first that touches our table.. let tuck in...
prawn are fresh and crunchy, this you have to eat while it is still hot... the only thing that they need to improve is the skin that covers it.

雪菜野菌餃 - mixed vege fungi dumpling..nothing special,, but good for vegetarian

酥皮薑汁蛋撻 ... nothing special abt this egg tart, but i think you should try Carlton hotel if u want to good egg tart

香煎蘿蔔糕 - carrot cake is one dish that you should order. I am not saying they are the best, but it is one good dish after East Ocean

蘑菇雞粒酥.. mini chicken pie is one dish that you must order... it is not big, you can just thrown one piece into your mouth, even a lady can do that.. when you bite onto it.. all the juicy juice just squeeze out from the chicken and it really make you want to have another one...

佛山汾蹄 - not fatty and crunchy.. not fantastic.. but you can try it

豉味蒸鳳瓜 - phoenix claw is a must dish for most of our yum cha... tasty, and remember to eat it while it is still steamy hot...

沙啦小排骨 - sweet sour fish, quite tasty.. but fish are a little too dry.. but it is a dish that you can order .. especially for kids as i believe it will be tast for them

雲南野菌蒸腸粉 - Mushroom steam rice roll is not only tasty, but it rice skin is really bouncy and its ingredients are really fresh too..

四色燒賣 - steam pork dumpling is also a must that you have to try, it comes with four different topping, "caviar" looks alike.. hahaha. actually they are roe from fish and crab.. bouncy, juicy and not really that fat after all

化皮三層肉.. this fatty meat is always a top selection among the hongkonger.. but unfortunately, this dish is a little too pricy.. it is fatty part of the meat is not fatty as what you think.. the skin are not crispy..but good to try

生煎窩貼... guo tie skin is soft and tender, when you bite on it, you will get to feel the sweet "soup" runs around your mouth.. and with tender meat in it.. you will like to have the whole plate for yourself

金菇堯柱炆依麵 - this braised noodle is a MUST dish that you need to order.. it is totally different from other restaurant that we have tried.. just dont have word to describe it.. try it for yourself... GOOOD!!!

敬送生果盤..this is a surprise fruit platter from the restaurant director.. hahaha

when you are there.. remember to bring your camera along, as from that level, you can to see nice view too during the day and night...
enjoy !!!

Once again, it is one of our nature exploration time ...
It was raining heavily last nite, and when we wake up this morning (ard 6.05 am), we were thinking why dont we take a stroll at Singapore Botanic Gardens ( Singapore place of interest).. http://www.sbg.org.sg
Its a 15mins drive from our place, get a parking lot, and lets start our cooling journey..
What you see below is the HQ Entrance, you will be able to see the guiding board when you are at the entrance.. you can choose to go to the National Orchid Garden or Ginger garden or Swan pond or cafe or Risis retail outlet or.. anyway.. you can choose where you want to go when you are there..

you will be greeted by this wonderful mini "waterfall", it is not really far from the entrance (less then 25m .. let me capture some shots on it

As usual, you will see tons of people grouping around here and there to do their morning exercise.. what you see below are at four different spots

along the way, you will get to see many species of plants and trees, I dont really capture their names.. but its really is a relaxing feel to see so many wonderful greens and colours from out mother nature...
I can still remember this small little hut when I was a little... my mum used to bring us here for some fun, and it feel good to have this memory.. hmmm.. just wondering where did I keep all my old pictures...

Took this shots when I thought it is quite unique..

We come to a place where it is totally a new thing to us... they are all cactus.. I have not seen so many types of cactus before.. manage to take some of them... not all... but you will be amaze when you are there
