January 2011 HK blogger and friends gathering
IT is a beginning new year of 2011, and the only way to celebrate this wonderful event is EATTTTTTT !!!!
Jhouse actually saw one recommendation from a HK travel guide.. just curious which is that.. and it did recommend this "wonderful" restaurant DaDong Restaurant in Smith Road, Chinatown...
Well.. as CNY is around the corner, u really have to battle through this rediculous crowd.. but what to do
this special even is only once a year thing.. well.. just go lor...
..
now .. our battle begin...
we squeeze here
and we squeeze there
and we squeeze everywhere..
until we see this great sign board..
finally we are here,,, sweaty and tired...
place is a little run down, but still acceptable
their menu is quite with a dowager picture on it.. wondering what is their dish related to her... most of the dish on the menu are really local
not forgetting to mention their dowger wet tissue
one by one , two by two.. or our friends arriving sitting down and chatting all the way
and our new member Christine.. hey.. next time remember to bring Koen if he can tolerate all the canto surrounding
here comes all our dish.... this time.. i will be sweet and short... nice means nice, not nice means not nice.. ok?
this tofu is nice on the outlook, smooth on the inside, but the gravy is just too thick... but overall nice ...
this one not nice
as for this, only the prawn is nice and the noodle is too soggy
this pepper friend beef... tasteless
this sweet sour pork meat is just too dry.. can be better
this scallop dish.. ok.. can order
finally we finished our meal... its time again for our group photo.. i really must say.. it is not easy to get David to be with us.. but it is nice to have u here bro
wow... mommy and aubrey is really very attached to each other
to those who did not appear here... lets try to meet again next time
